    H4350 52.0 - 57.5
    Minimum OAL 3.300"
Estimated velocity is up around 2800 fps, and some change.
The OAL is something you'll need to determine with your particular action. However, I wouldn't recomend going any deeper but rather find the longest OAL that will function well in your magazine and not touch the lands.

I've been using 150grain hornady spire points through a Remington 700.

57grains of H4350 seems to be a sweet spot, I can guarantee 3" groups at 130yards, and often get 1" groups (shooting prone, off the bipod).

I've also tried using Varget, and 165grain hornady's -- not as good. I'm sticking to H4350 for now (it also nearly fills the case).

H4350 is outstanding in the .30/06 with 180gr bullets.

Expect to top out at about 56.0-57.5gr for 2,750-2,800fps.
I suggest you start at 54.0 and work up in 1/2gr increments to 57.5gr. (Hodgdon's maximum recommended loading). This ain't tossing nerf balls !!! With a Nosler 180gr Partition, or Swift A-Frame, this will take down anything in N. America, and most of Africa's big-game. Even some of those for which is isn't legal.

However, I find that 55.0gr of IMR4350 gives me 2,780fps from my 24"bbl and better accuracy than the H4350.

The only powder that will give significantly better performance from the '06 than the H4350, is Reloader 22.

I've gotten just under 2,900fps with 61.0gr of RL22, but accuracy is not nearly as good from my '06 as with IMR4350 (sub-moa for 5rds @ 100yds). This is crowding in on the .300WinMag factory loads.
