Accutip Slugs. Are they Better?

I was reading ShootingTimes and read an article about Accutip slugs. I am trying to see the advantage of these slugs over other slugs. The performance from accuracy, energy and trajectory does not seem to offer anything new. I was wondering if anyone had used them and if they were worth the extra cost and trouble to get and zero.

They're just more gimmicky marketing, I think
