ACLU Law and Order The Bill of Rights

    Hey, ADA McCoy said it in one of the shows, in front of the SCOTUS (or some such high ranking court)...

    "Man kind only has those rights which it can defend..."

    I would say that the logic if at once flawed and then accurate.

    For example, you have the right to worship the way you want... BUT NOT WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES....

    Conversely, if you have the right, it is personal, and if you have freedom, then it is societal...

    Any takers?

    The 2nd amendment has been under attack, however according to McCoy, we have the rights and ONLY the rights that we can defend... I would say that we have the RIGHTS respected by Governments that we can defend....
