Never had a pistol this accurate.

Just wait 'till I get a little practice under my belt.

Not sure what year it is (#A600049) or if the box is correct (stamped inside: "Oct 16 1975).

Shot it today for the first time!

Don't own one, but the first .22 pistol I ever shot was a Smith 41.

It was a darn fine shootin' gun...even i kept them all on the paper @15Yds

Beautiful gun.

A Model 41 is definitely on my "hope to own one someday" list.

My uncle had one that he foolshly traded away and has regretted ever since.

I still have the one I shot with Army 5th. Inf. AMU in the late 1960's.

7 3/8" comp barrel, 5" lightweight sport barrel, & barrel weight set.

Ohhh, that's nice!

If you ever have to sell it, I get first dib's and promise to keep it till you're able to buy it back. :)

The model 41 has always had an excellent reputation for accuracy. You are indeed fortunate to own one.

Thanks

Swapped a PA red dot for the scope today, and I can shoot the red dot better.

Imagine that.

you sound like a "proud pappa". nice piece ya got there!

when you find the bullet it likes, you will be hard to beat.

same with any 22lr pistol. they are all picky about the ammo they digest. some shoot lights-out with the cheapest ammo out there, some need the expensive stuff to shoot the best.

good luck and happy shooting. i love my model 41.

Mine eats most anything, BUT: I have found that the CCI standard velocity is the ONLY one that is absolutely 100% reliable AND very, very accurate.

I was fortunate enough to play with a friends extensive collection of firearms last trip home to AR. Everything from Nighthawk Customs to REPR with suppressor. The one I couldn't put down was the 41. He laughed because he was expecting to spend a LOT more on ammo. The trigger is superb, and it is just a beautiful pistol to these eyes. It's on my must have soon list.
