I recently obtained a C-More Sight for the Colt AR-15 style rifle. Without the manual of course. So I am trying to figure out how to adjust and use it.

I assume (bad word) that at least one method is to adjust the iron sights on target and then place the red dot just on the tip of the front post. To do this you have to move the dot in the viewing lens. The vertical adjustment screw is very obvious, it is located just behind the screen. But how do you move the dot left and right? The screw for this adjust ment does not seem to be marked.

Does anyone have any hints for me? Thanks.

On the right side of the sight are three adj screws. The two that kind of overlap each other are the windage adj. The one covering the other is the locking screw. Loosen that (not so far it falls out) and then turn the covered screw clockwise to adj POA to the right, then retighten locking screw. The third screw on the side is the locking screw for the elevation adj which is the one behind the sight glass. Loosen that screw before adj elevation. I have found the adj to be very sensitive, so only adj a little at a time. Happy shooting!

Yes I have the railway model that attaches to a weaver rail. I mostly use it on my Buckmark .22 , but I have also used it on my Super redhawk .44. I really enjoy it. Its a dream on the buckmark. Target aquisition is so easy as you can keep both eyes open and see everything around you. Great for hunting type shots on the Super redhawk. Nice to be able to see the whole target and its surroundings instead of the limited picture thru a scope. Only problem on the .44 is that with a lot of muzzle rise it's sometimes hard to find the dot again for follow up shots. Not an issue w/ a .22 or a rifle. I've had mine for about a year and used it frequently in all kinds of weather. The battery has not noticeably weakened. One thing I was surprised about it that I use almost the entire range of dot brightness. I thought I would prob just use the brightest setting, but that is much too bright for anything but blazing sun, where the dot is still clearly visible.
I'll take a look tonite and see if I can tell you what size allens to get.
