After NRA membership

I just signed up for the free NRA membership that was posted on here. How long would I hear back from them?

The last I heard was 3-5 weeks before you get your card. Soon to be followed by a ton of letters wanting you to extend your membership for another year.

If you make a free call or send an email to NRA you can opt out of the mailings. It works.

I keep hearing that NRA sends too much mail, but people just don't seem to know about the free telephone number or email address.
