Hello all,
I'm trying to seriously get into IPSC now that I'm back from the sandbox. I have a 2nd gen Glock 22 that I want to upgrade to a Glock 24, but without buying a new (hard to find, I'd imagine) Glock 24.
I know that the 22 and 24 use the same frame, and I want to get an aftermarket .40 SW barrel as well, because I WILL be using reloaded .40. My main question is this:
1. Aftermarket or actual Glock 24 upper. Best place to buy?
2. Best place to get a barrel for said upper (with rifling, not polygonal)? I've heard good things about Lone Wolf and Lake City.
3. Since this is going to be a dedicated race gun, are there any other mods that would be worthwhile, meanwhile keeping me in the US Limited Division?
I appreciate any and all help. I realize that the answer to one or two of the questions might be in other threads, but I couldn't find anything in reference to the 24 upper in a quick search.
