Is a service truck w a utility trailer. Approx 40' combined. I was hauling steel tubing & flat bar stock. Sudden braking w steel bars can send them foreward w even the best rigging. My trailer brakes really well, but ill never be able to outmanuver a Toyota.
Yep. Sudden braking with any load is problematic, but I've seen some gruesome pictures from tubing going through cabs. No thank you.
If it's your truck, there are options to modify it to make it more bullet resistant. It isn't really comforting, but if you are an adrenaline junkie, incoming fire is very exciting as long as it misses you. Create distance, adjust speed - even minor like from 58 to 62, and keep moving.
I might add an extra first aid kit with some GSW specifics like compression bandages and a tourniquet. Just in case they get lucky.
Your goals should be something like:
1. Don't die
2. Don't injure/kill anyone on accident
3. Don't go to jail
