Nice rifle! I too have a 30S and love it! I have a Williams Peep on it and it's a pure Tackdriver! They are probablly the best GP airrifle on the market!
I waited far too long to get mine. I wish I'd have bought one when they first came out!

A beautifull example of what's probably the finest target rifle ever made!
My 55 S looks so plain by comparison but is loved nonethell.
I got mine through a friend and from a German Shooting Club, I replaced the mainspring with a HW Champ mainspring. giving it approximately the same velocity as JM's Indoor Plinkers kit. Mine does 580fps and is superbly accurate, I decided to scope mine (old eyes) with a fixed 4X with A/O and fast Focus. the scope allows pinpoint shooting eveb as poorly as I shoot
The best part about the 55 is that is very simple to work on for things like mainsprings. you don't even need a spring compressor! The design is straightforward and the trigget is the best ever!

That reminds me of my .22 Crossman that I used as a kid.
I grew up surrounded by orchards. The orchardist neighbor paid me a nickel for every starling I shot when the cherries were getting ripe.
I made good money, for an 8 year old in the early 1960's with that Crossman. Kept me in pellets, plastic models, and black licorice during the cherry season.
I lost track of that rifle when I went into the US Army.

I bought a Webley Tempest (Beeman import) in the late 80's, and it still looks, and works like new. It is a blast to shoot. I also bought a Beeman P1 "Magnum" at the time which is a bit more powerful, and a bit more of a precision shooter, but also a lot more expensive. I find shooting the Tempest is more fun, and the accuracy is very good if I do my part.
You can still buy the Webley Tempest, but they are now made in Turkey, not England, but they get good reviews.

Also, I was going to ask you what caliber your Mrod is.
I see yours is .22, as is mine.
My Mrod is the main reason I don't shoot my magnum springers much anymore.
It's a great hunting airgun.
I need to get my SCUBA tank refilled, so I can shoot my Sam Yang 909 some more.

Jaymo- I have .177 and a .22 marauder as well as a .22 marauder pistol...
The izzy is shot more than my other air pistols and was acquired before they were over 300.00... should have bought three
I have two compressors I use to fill the guns and tanks- the first I actively looked for- the second is newer n better n fell into my lap!

Here is my new to me Daisy 853 from the CMP. It is quite accurate with Walmart daisy pellets. I cant wait to try some match pellets. The top left group is 5 shots at 10m on a regulation ISSF 10m Target

I have my preferences also but I also get into soft shooters and have several of thosetoo.
They;re a real addiction and there seems to be no cure.

This is the only one for which I have a picture: a Sam Yang 909S in .457.
No bipod on mine and a red dot optic.
I also have a number of air pistols but no pictures... An FWB CO2 match pistol. A Benjamin EB-22 and a. .22 Marauder, a IZH- 43.

There is a side cocking .177 IZH air rifle with an adjustable stock.
Years ago - a break barrel .177 spring gun from China. My sons used the heck out of it.
Also, have a Gamo air "shotgun", break barrel, that shoots #9 or smaller shot out of little reloadable .22 cal hulls. Good for hunting chipmunks at close range (if you, for some strange reason, ever want to hunt chipmunks at close range). It also uses a chamber insert that allows for .22 pellets.....it is surprisingly accurate with that insert....we can readily hit a 2-3 inch target a 25 yards shooting offhand.
Some years ago, I bought a little Daisy lever BB gun for wing shooting practice - took the sights off, cut proper length stock out of some scrap wood and started adding weights to the stock and under the barrel to bring the weight up to near seven pounds. Great little gun to teach mounting and pointing.
Last year I picked up a Umarex BB machine gun, single shots and bursts. Great fun for the kids (and me, too.)

Gamo "survival rifle", a 25-round autoloading repeater purchased in around 1986, and Gamo PT-85 "Blowback" repeater, purchased last week (haven't even shot that one yet.)
I also have a Crosman 1377 from the mid-eighties, too, just not handy for the picture. I also have the optional shoulder stock for it.

My Beeman 400 target rifle. I had it rebuilt a year or so back and she works great again. Darn seals dried out over 30 years of use.
