Air gun scope (preferably illuminated reticle)

I'm awash in scopes!

Still waiting on rings and more to get everything mounted, but I've got 3 scopes sitting here for my air rifles:
1. Got the Hawke Vantage 3-9x40mm AO Mil Dot IR (going on the Jim Shockey .22 rifle).
2. Got the Hawke Vantage 4-12×50mm AO Mil Dot IR (going on the Eva Shockey .177 rifle).
3. Got the Centerpoint 4-16X40 mm TAG.

I picked up the Centerpoint at the local Walmart for only $69.99 just to bring it home and check it out - measure, eyeball on gun AFA length / height, etc. It gets good reviews online, but I decided to go with the 4-12 Hawke instead - I haven't opened the Centerpoint, so it's probably going back to the store if the Hawke works out.

I didn't really want the 50mm objective on the Hawke, but it was the only option available in that power with an AO objective and non-specific reticle (they have 40mm scopes with 17 HMR BDC reticles, etc.).

Don't know that it will matter, as I also ordered one of the UTG Compensation Mounts - the increased height of the mount should allow me to use medium height rings instead of tall rings if I mounted directly to the dovetail.

For some reason, the Jim Shockey comes with a Picatinny mount - the Eva Shockey has only the dovetail mount. Crosman says the rail on the Jim Shockey is welded to the barrel, so you can't modify the Eva Shockey with Crosman parts. The Crosman guy on the phone wasn't aware of the difference, and had no idea why Crosman did it that way?

I guess I'll mount the bigger Hawke on the smaller caliber rifle (.177) as it should have more range?

While not for the airguns, when doing scope research I ran across the Pride Fowler line - I liked the specs / design on their RR-EVOLUTION 22LR - looked like it would be just the thing for my Savage FV-SR. I shoot both sub and supersonic ammo thru it (with silencer), so hopefully the dual reticle will work out - I also like the fact that it's a FFP reticle.

Still waiting on rings to mount it, but so far it looks like a nice unit - not too sure about the turrets - the feel fine, but could be a little larger and possible with protective covers?

The one thing I don't like (and will probably prevent me from buying any more Pride Fowler's unless they redesign the zoom mechanism) is the zoom ring design. When you turn the zoom ring, the entire back end of the scope rotates, which means if you have a scope cover over the eye, the darn scope cover is going to rotate also.

Pride Fowler has some other scopes I'd be interested in if they'd just redesign the zoom mechanism - every other brand of scope I have has only the zoom ring move when you use it.

I put the Leapers 4-16X50 on my R9 and Marauder .22. No complaints, and I like the illuminated reticle.
I put the CDT trigger in my Crosman-made Gamo copy. Well worth the money.
