Alloy frame?

I’m more of a steel frame guy, though my Bersa Thunder 9 with alloy frame is holding on ok, I’m curious about the smaller models ( 380 ACP, 22 LR)
My question is, how is your little Bersa (in 380 or smaller) or other small caliber alloy frame pistols holding on, do you shoot it much with hot ammo?
Today I purchased a Bersa 23 ( al steel 22 LR) but there’s one nice Thunder 22 (alloy frame)that I’m considering putting on lay away.

Mine is a 380 Thunder nearing a 1000 rounds, I fire S&B and Corbon HP and DPX. Have one member on board with 6000+ and just replaced recoil spring,
