Keeping eye on it, but for those (me included) who want one, the LNL is price dropping. Dropped from 449 to 409 yesterday. Today at 379. Hit 344 on Memorial day. See where it goes in the next couple of days.
I have not checked Jet.com or anywhere else yet, but free shipping is good :D

That sounds like a great deal. I paid 449 + shipping about 5 yrs ago. I like the press a lot- I've load about 10k of various calibers since I got it, and it is still going strong.

If you are looking you might as well buy at $340. Ive never seen it below $315 and that's just from someone telling me about it when I was looking for one

I seem to recall Jet got down to $360ish around Memorial Day and Amazon was about the same price.

Anything lower than $370 is a good price...it is currently at $374 and you'd have it by the 5th. If you keep checking back, the price will jump up again

Now the real question, when to hit "buy"? Will the price continue to drop, hold steady or jump up for no good reason?
I have a LNL in my cart along with a few shell plates, just waiting

Don't wait too long. I think $374 less 15% is a great price for this great press.

Springer, when I was watching on Memorial weekend, hit the lowest, 344 on Memorial Day and then gone after 10pm(mst) that night. Have Jet.com set up also. Was not in the position to purchase then, am now. So rolling the dice it will drop either just before the 4th if not on it. If it it doesn't drop on the 4th, then Jet.com gets my business

id jump on that while you can, while the price may possibly go a little lower but it won't be much, its almost guaranteed for the price to sky rocket up at some point. Don't be on the wrong side of the price fluctuation

I Just hit "buy"

2 shell plates, lnl ap and 3 spare springs.

Progressive reloading will begin soon ;)

When you buy more die bushings look at the convervion kit at cabelas, it comes w 6 bushings and a converter for a rock chucker for 19.99, 3 packs are 16, or 44 for 10 packs.

Amazon LNL

If the price drops more in next 30 days call Amazon, they will give you lowest price. That's why it's better to buy on big price dips. Guarantee yourself a good deal which may get better if price drops lower.

Well pulled the handle (sorry for the pun) and got LNL ordered :D. Tried to get Amazon to price match, since I have been prime member for years, but wouldn't do it. So Jet.com got my business for 345 (374.99 - 30 off for 1st time account).
Let the next adventure into the progressive world begin!! Time to watch some 76highboy videos :)
Gotta remember to print out my free offer for 500 bullets from Hornady too.

Congrats.

The price savings is likely worth the additional wait time over Prime delivery. Jet is interesting as you never know where your product is coming from until you get the shipping notification

9mm, ummmm additional wait time...we are talking shipped at least from somewhere in the USA??
No worries, it gets here when it gets here. Really need to get the space prepped for it on the bench anyway. Ordered some additional items, shell plates, bulet feed dies etc anyway, it's all good

I bought a RCBS chargemaster from them at Memorial Day, it came from Optics Planet and was here in about 3 days. Congrats and welcome to the progressive side.

I bought my LNL ap from them on Memorial day and it came from reds gear. I think it was 5-7 days best I remember.

2011, thanks, been eyeballing that press for awhile after researching all others. Narrowed it down on my order of operations of how i reload and what would fit my purposes the best.

egd, was keeping up with your posts at that time. Mine is coming from the same place. Just wondering if yours came with 5 LNL bushings also?? Did not buy any as I have most of my dies set up with the bushing on my Rockchucker anyway, but just bought all the bullet feeder dies and was waiting to see if I needed to buy anymore bushings. Thanks (how's the press working so far?)

When you buy the LNL AP, it does come with 5 bushings.

When using the bullet feeder dies, if you have trouble getting them to drop, try a little more flare of the case mouths. The flare has to be wide enough to lever open the lower collet to drop the bullet...it is a pretty common operator error.

I use my 9mm Bullet Feeder die to load both 9mm (.355") and .38Spl (.357") bullets..takes about 4.5 turns of adjustment for the difference in case length

Yeah, like 9mm says, it comes with 5 bushings. I don't have the bullet feeder.
It works very well, although my biggest problem is with priming. I just have a hard time feeling when the primers are seated deep enough. Some I can feel, others I can't. Today at a shoot I had several FTF's. But I was shooting a backup gun (a bug match) and I don't know if it was the gun or the primers not seated all the way down.
It has taken me a lot of "fiddlin" with to get it all the way I want, assuming I do now?, but I think that is to be expected with a new progressive press. I'm using my Lee resize die in station 1, Hornady bell die in 2, Hornady powder measure, etc. in 3, Hornady seat/crimp die in 4 but with no crimp, and Lee fcd in 5.

once funds come available, get a case feeder. By far the best addition to my press

9mm, thanks, i think you offered the same advice to in another post regarding plated bullets , marked this post and will look for the other one so I can refer to it. Already have the bully system and the lee bullet tubes ready to go, so i'm sure some adjustment will be necesssary.

egd, i size and prime seperately, so thinking 1. expander 2. powder 3. powder cop 4. bullet die 5. seat and crimp
