In honor of Jesse Jackson's "protest" tommorrow, I'll wander on down to Walmart and buy at least a 100 round box of 9x19mm 115gr. FMJs and a 50 round box of 9x19mm 147gr. JHPs.

I have a training session in Alexandria, VA tomorrow 8Am - Noon then it will be off to
Realco Guns, Inc.
6108 Marlboro Pike
District Heights, MD 20747

to buy ammo and any other thing I can use to support the shop.

Sounds like as good of an excuse to pick up a couple of boxes as any I've heard lately...I believe dunhams is having some sales.

The Brady bunch, along with Rainbow PUSH (Jackson's organization) are totally hijacking the anniversary of Dr. MLK's "I have a dream" speech to go protest against "illegal" guns (I think that means any we own, but that's another thread altogether). At any rate, in response, lots of gun owners are calling it "buy a gun" day or "buy a gun or ammo" day.

So go buy something gunny. Ammunition. Must get more ammunition :D

tomorrow is cricket day for my daughter and ammo for me, I don't know which one yet :D but I know I'll be buying some of any of the calibers I have so i can support jesse  :D :neener: hey I'm just playing

Have fun and shoot safe, especially tomorrow, lol

Its kinda like going to the bar on St. patty's day, you don't exactly have to twist our arm for an excuse to buy gun stuff, and for a good cause too. How about writing a letter to your congress rep thanking them for defending your rights or chastising them for eroding them, depending on district. Don't get me wrong, Ill buy stuff too, but nationwide pro-gun rallys, and the gains that we have made are reason enough for us to celebrate, and keep up the good work.

Well, I don't need any shotgun shells, but they are still reasonably priced. I refuse to pay the extortion for .308 or .45 ACP, but since 12 gauge and 20 gauge are within reason bounds of price, I can add a few boxes.

Today has been dubbed "National Exercise Your Rights Day". I have my eye on an item at my local purveyor of fine firearms (price is right, and I won't hurt my recreation fund that badly). One of the security guards here at the office is going to get some cleaning supplies (preventative maintenance he calls it), and another fellow is going to his local WallyWorld for some ammunition.

My letter to the editor of the [Apartheid] Chicago Sun-Times which I just sent:

"Thanks to Jesse Jackson for reminding me that today’s the day to buy guns, ammunition and other shooting related items.

I’ve already bought a carrying case for my Glock today. As soon as I leave work, it’s off to Walmart to buy several boxes of ammunition.

I’d go counter-protest whatever the Million Mendacious Moms are doing here in Cleveland… if they were doing anything at all. The truth is they’re a hollow, rotting shell everywhere except corrupt sinkholes like Chicago, where you not only have to fear criminals but the police as well.

Happy Ammunition Day and good shooting!"

In honor of Jesse's dishonor, I hauled my Carbon 15, model 21 Bushmaster and my Glock 19C to the range. I bought a box of 9mm and plugged 4 different targets with about 100 rounds total. I did quite well, if I do say so myself, and especially in light of the fact that I just had neurosurgey 27 days ago! Thanks Jesse!
