I'm not trying to demean anybody colonel. My point is that there isn't a "lack of supply", there's a huge (artificial) spike in demand. By all accounts, the manufacturers are at full capacity, cranking out ammo faster than they ever have. So, if this isn't a supply side "shortage" (like it would be if the world suddenly ran out of raw lead), it must be the consumers driving it. And if people would just pause for a bit, the market would start heading back to some kind of equilibrium. But, posting how bad it is every couple of days only feeds the panic and generates a self-fulfilling prophecy.
