Do we have an ammo picture thread? If not we need one. I think these coated SWC’s are some of the coolest looking rounds I’ve done. Post what you got!

I think the only thing missing from this picture is a Macanudo Prince Phillip... but those big, beautiful Keith .41's hold their own...

I enjoy casting bullets and reloading. Most of what I shoot is reloads.

If it weren't for Unique and Red Dot i could probably play a guitar or do something useful.....

Here’s some 50AE loads, a 9mm & 45ACP next to one for scale. They make a pound of powder go real quick.

If I didn’t reload I don’t think I could hardly ever shoot the DE, have yet to see 50AE on the shelf.

I spent a great deal of time at my dad's reloading table when I was young. At one time we were shooting at least 600 rounds per week at ATA targets. All reloads, loaded in the basement with a transistor radio playing.
I don't shoot shotguns as much now, but I reload everything. .410, 28, 20, and 12ga.
Like Teddy Roosevelt said...."The outside of a reloader, is good for the inside of a man"......or something like that.?

Montana Bullet Works? Those look like the LBT 300's I run.

Those are probably the last of my Cast Performance bullets, since they stopped selling them as components. All of my 'good' cast bullets now come from MBW, however.

I'm a bit of a fruit pie, sometimes. Back Home, Years Ago, I was not only a budding handloader, but a novice photographer as well. It was inevitable they would mix. I also like patterns, geometric design, architecture, and things like that, and back then I was experimenting with different light, texture, and other photographic techniques...

Rooting through these photos, I realize I'm missing a bunch of them... hopefully, they didn't get disappeared.


I'll see @shoebox1.1 's speedloader, and raise him .053"...

Belgian 7.62mm surplus and Stella... what's not to like?

Speaking of Montana Bullet Works...

I was unloading an order from MBW, and it struck me as quite funny... so I took this picture.

To the right are some great 405grn RN/GC .45-70 bullets... all nestled down in their little First Class seats up front. They will get to where they are going in their own sweet time, and they don't mind spending the money on a good seat.

Then you have the Business Class seats, with those 'get busy!' .348WCF FN/GC bullets. They have places to go, people to see, things to do.

Then you have the Great Unwashed... .308 FN/GC bullets... back in Coach, all wedged in, setting in those uncomfortable seats, with crying babies, the guy that hasn't had a shower in 3 days, and the person who just had to bring fried chicken with them, to eat in their seat.
