Ammunition delivery.

Folks,

I have been ordering pistol ammo and been receiving it withing 4 days via ground delivery.

Is it any different with ordering rifle ammo? I have one order placed on the 15th of this month and it is still pending.

Only difference I can think of is that you have to be 21 to order handgun ammo but only 18 for rifle (well that and pistol ammo tends to come in smaller boxes).

but realize that you will have to sign for delivery, or I should say that legally they charge to make someone over 21 sign, but it may be left on the back porch or hidden in the bushes, if it isn't just dumped in the front yard....

No difference. At least my rifle ammo has always come in the same timescale as my handgun ammo.

This place is giving me the run around. i don't know why... they advertised ammo for sale and free shipping. i put it in my shopping cart after opening an account and now they are stalling me.

Sounds like great customer service to me. Businesses get swamped from time to time, and if lots of customers are jamming them up with orders for hunting season, what do you expect them to do?

Be happy that a real person is actually responding to your emails asking what's going on, and is trying to be helpful instead of blowing you off.

I guess it depends where you live, FedEx routinely just leaves my ammo on the front entry step that faces the road.

Loaded ammo has always just been delivered to me/left on the porch like any other package (no signing required).

Components have been a different deal; every time I've ordered powder or primers they insist on shipping it signature required.

There is no difference in shipping between pistol and rifle ammo.

when i clicked on the tracking number, it shows a 2.0 package being sent to me since last week...

They also advertise an 800 number to contact for orders... i think that they should be glad to answer busy lines and orders coming in...

I THINK, IT ALL GOES BACK TO A SIMPLE AND PRIMITIVE CONCEPT, TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER.

Hopefully, someone here will not ask me a follow up if i would order from this place again.

So there's a snafu with your order. I still don't see the problem. They've responded to you in what seems like a timely manner, provided you with tracking information, and given you multiple ways for you to contact them again if need be.

I'm honestly not trying to bust your chops, but IMHO, it's sounding like you're the one with the issue/attitude at this point. Have you contacted them and asked them why they're only sending you a catalog instead of the ammo you ordered? Or are you just posting here going on about how they can't get anything right?

I've never signed for delivery, nor been charged extra/forced to find someone 21 or over to sign. I'd love to see the law requiring such.

In my opinion, the customer service has been fantastic. You emailed them yesterday, the day before the busiest travel day of the year, and they told you that they'd email you back tomorrow, which is the day before a major national holiday. They've replied to you multiple times with tracking numbers, explanations that they're a bit behind, and alternate methods to contact them if need be. What more do you want?
