I had a chance to shoot one of their basic models and it functioned perfectly and shot accurately. Now I'm a Colt AR guy, but I know they are not the be all and end all of AR's. So I'm seeking some feed back on this company and model. Any feed back would be appreciated and a average price wouldn't hurt! Thanks.

Lots of Anderson uppers snd lowers out there, I’ve never heard anything bad about them. I have a couple of their lowers mixed with DPMS and Bushmaster uppers and they work very well.

Their assembled rifles have shot well for a couple of friends who have them, I think you can’t go wrong for the price.

Stay safe.

Not the greatest barrels but your not paying for a competition grade barrel either. They get the job done. My guns have a lot of Anderson parts in them, and my carbine has an Anderson barrel. It’s a 3” gun at 100 yards and I haven’t been able to dial it in any better so far, but i don’t shoot it much. It’s more or less just there because I built it. It was my first AR and it was my first 80% lower (I did 2 of them a while back, one didn’t work out). I should tinker with it more and make it more of what I want it to be.

They're lovingly referred to as "Poverty Ponies". I built a carbine on one of their lowers and have a spare lower I need to do something with still. Issues are rarely heard of. If building a general purpose carbine they're solid rifles. If you're chasing bug hole groups, I'd use their upper/lower and guts but buy a different trigger and barrel.

I bought a stripped lower and a parts kit and a completed pistol upper locally, and assembled the lower on my kitchen table. As a pistol blaster it'll shoot everything I feed it. Thinking on a 300 BO upper on it so I can deer hunt in the MN Shotgun zone for next year.....

Two stripped Anderson lowers and a 10” 5.56 complete Anderson upper minus BCG.
One of the lowers was tight around the BHO but a few passes with a file fixed it.
The upper shoots fine, actually groups 55 grain loads better than my BCM.
I think I paid $29 & $39 ea. for the lowers and $175 for the upper just a few years ago but that doesn’t mean much today.

I have used plenty of Anderson stripped lowers for different builds and have used their stripped uppers also. I've never had a problem with them. The finish on Anderson receivers might not be as good as other companies but they function just as well. The only thing negative that I have seen people complain about is that Anderson only taps the pistol grip mounting hole so that you have to either use a shorter 3/4" long bolt or grab a tap and finish tapping the hole deeper. I just grab my 1/4" 20 tap and finish tapping the hole.

I have used Anderson lowers and uppers in gun I have assembled and they have been great. I have no experience with their actual firearms.

I ran into that when I assembled my one and only AR, now sold. I just put a couple of flat washers and a split washer on the included bolt and it took up the slack just fine.

I bought Anderson rifle kits for every member of my family a few years ago. We had a build party where we all assembled our own carbines.. ..it was so much fun and educational.
The rifles are very good, as others have said, maybe not match grade, but very accurate. I would buy again.
My AR pistol is Anderson also.
I'm not an AR expert, but Anderson suits my needs.
