If anyone saw the last episode of the first season during the marathon a couple days ago...

When the chick sets up her little sniping position overlooking the boat, what kind of rifle does she have? It was a civilian type with a dovetail mount scope, looked like maybe a BAR or A-bolt.

    TIA

It looked like a HS-Precision take down rifle....lovely but seriously expensive, saw the same on a CSI-Miami episode so probably the same one from central casting.....:D

There was one for sale on one of the boards not that long ago that came with both .308 and .338 Lapua and was going for over $7800

The HS Tactical Takedown comes in "all SAAMI calibers" according to their website.

Starts at $5200 and goes up from there :)

    caliber

On CSI Miami they talked about it being a 308, 'a snipers caliber'. Apparently I don't hunt deer, I snipe them.

On "Bones" one of the main characters referred to a Glazer round as "...a custom-loaded sniper round." I almost threw a shoe at the set.

And I've evidently taken contracts on numerous gophers & other small game with a .22, "the Mafia-style hit caliber."
