Yesterday was unpleasant enough because of wind that my son-in-law, grandson, and I drove to Carlsbad to got to their gunshow yesterday. Prices were somewhat better on some items at some tables than at our show last week. A few of the vendors were at our show. Maybe it was just because it was Sunday and they were looking to make more sales before packing up and leaving. I actually saw some prices that were better than our local dealers and some were down right bargains. The trouble for me was I already owned one or had no interest. I splurged and came home with a small LED flashlight.

SIL drove us over and when I got up to pay for lunch he stuck his card in the reader before I could could. I am not slow on purpose, just can't move quickly anymore. I did beat him to the admission table because he held the door and paid for us. Grandpa just took it easy mostly and got fed. Nice day was had by all.

Yes, but in my case it's four generations but all 5 GG kids were left home. No way were we going to try to herd that many cats. They will get to shoot anything that comes home with any of us if they are big enough. They aren't old enough to buy anything and have no money anyway so leave them home and let their mother's deal with them.

If we considered taking the two oldest the other three would just put up a howl to go so they all get to stay home.

I saw the ads for it but way too far for me, 340 miles from Taos. Plus I'm not looking for anything these days so unless I stumbled on a great deal on something old I doubt it would have been worth it. I have an old friend in Carlsbad I haven't seen in many years but haven't heard from in so long not sure if he's still there. Glad to hear prices were a bit more fair. And glad to hear you had a good day with your family.
