Just got back from the gunshow in Tulsa. I was totally shocked. They managed to cram even more tables in this year than normal. There were more people there shopping. More of the tables had guns than usual. I managed to sell my Steyr .40 cal before I got in the door. I got a good deal on an EMF Hartford Sharps in .45-70 and found a neat little Llama .22 (looks like a baby 1911) I must say this was the best gunshow I've ever been to. Oh I got some AR15 goodies too.

Ours is coming up next weekend. Were people there buying? What about components and accessories, plenty of stock?

We have one in 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see what they have and how it is priced.

This is not the time to buy really. Wait until it settles down, unless you truly find a good deal. We have plenty of time, even if bans do come along.

I attended a small show a couple weeks back.
I didn't buy any guns but I did buy some ammo cans, ammunition and quite a few books including an original, first edition, Hatcher's Book of the Garand.

People were buying EVERYTHING. They had hand carts loaded down with ammo. They were lots of accessories and guns too. Some of the stuff was over priced but not as bad as i thought it would be. AR15 stripped lowers were $160 which is about right. Model1 had a huge booth set up so no one could really gouge on uppers.

Just got home from doing the Niles, OH show and I'll be at the Medina, OH show this coming weekend.

The Niles show was jammed and folks were buying, buying, buying. :what:

As for buyer age ... it was all over the place ... Seniors to young adults. Male and female. And the good thing was that many of these folks are signing up for classes. Gun show wise this is a busy time of year. Within 100-150 miles there is at least one show a weekend from now until the end of the year. And we'll be setup at most all of them.

Of course if things continue at the present pace there may not be much to sell. Wholesaler/Distribuitors shelves are emptying quickly and mfg. are basically quoting 2009 deliveries.

Is there such a thing as "to much of a good thing"?
