Is it difficult to replace the magwell safety on Hi-Powers? I have an FEG PJK 9HP
That was bubba'd IMHO and I would like it back to Spec.

Maybe I mislead you guys. When I say Bubba'd I mean it looks like crap, the job was done poorly. If it was done in a way that didn't look like crap I would keep it that way, as I do kind of like the trigger pull compared to my Argentine FM M95. From the prices I have seen it would be less expensive to restore it to original than get a new trigger for it. So Back to my original question Is it difficult to do?

No, it is not hard, assuming you can find a new mag safety. I believe the one for the BHP will fit, but won't swear to it. You also need the spring and pin, as I would assume they are missing as well. Take out the trigger and clean up whatever needs cleaning, then insert the safety, spring and pin, making sure the trigger lever is activating properly.

A lot of folks like to remove that mag safety, but I advise against it; I know the problems with trigger pull, but IMHO removing any safety device is not the best policy.
