I can adjust the "powder thru expander" so that it bells the case mouth OK but the bells are lopsided; i.e. the flare will be more pronounced on one side of the case mouth than the other side. This occurs no matter how much I expand the case. I can see why it happens; the powder drop tilts slightly as the expander enters the case mouth and begins the flare. Is this common?

I have the early version of the LNL and my charging station doesn't flare the case so I can't give you any advice as to if its normal or not. The question is, does this uneven flaring cause any problems with the finished reload?

A problem that causes no problem is no problem at all.

Steve C, you need the powder through expander to flare it, you should be able to add it to it if there are different powder inserts.

My PTX works ok, it doesn't flare very large but its concentric. I cannot usually drop the bullets in the case but I have to follow them up. I'm still quite fast doing so.

Mine works just fine and I can flare/bell as much as I want, literally, and they are all concentric. Although my flare is so tiny most folks probably would not call it belled...

I am having a hard time getting a visual on exactly what is causing this issue since I have everything on mine adjusted so there is no movement except in the powder rotor as it is rotating and I guess there is a small amount of movement in the whole powder assembly due to the rubber o-ring in the bushing assembly.

If your whole powder assembly is removed from the press, can you press on the PTX and detect any play/movement? Mine is solid, no movement, which is how I intentionally set it up.
