Another M1 Carbine

Today I picked up an Inland M1 Carbine with a 4 digit serial number. My local gunsmith is getting ready to close his shop due to his wife's health problems so he is bringing out a number of the guns he has had stashed to liquidate. I paid $1100 for it but it has sharp rifling, a clean bore, very nice furniture and two magazines, including one marked M2. I will try to get some photo's later.

I carried your brother in Vietnam. . . the M14. I have a Springfield M1A now that is in the gunsmith shop getting new cerracote on the fiberglass stock. I have the origional wood stook too. They are great shooters. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Mine is a range rider not a safe queen.
