Just wondering if any others have what could be referred to as a 'tactical recliner'?

Our community has had some 'crash and enter' events in the last few years. Mostly the homes have been unoccupied, but not always. In those cases, homeowners were attacked in their own living rooms.

I have affixed a pouch on the side of my most occupied recliner which holds 'equipment to repel boarders' close at hand as Col. Cooper might put it. (NO lil kids here.)

Ok, y'all fess up. Any more 'tactical recliners' around?

I m sit on my TACTICAL CHAIR.

tactical recliners..."

Oh Lord Jesus, give me strength...

Agreed, I've heard everthing now. Well maybe not.

No, don't have recliner. My CCW is on hip, while home.

What next--Tactical Toilets??

Whilst sitting in my "Tactical Recliner, I am usually well armed with a multi-function, single-barelled, Infared sighted, semi auto....Commonly reffered to as the remote....
If I am Tactically disarmed- Usually by the wife or kids, I come to the Tactical computer desk and log on to the....Oooopppps....I almost said The Firing Line.....High Road, where I can think about becoming almost as tactical as .....THE MALL NINJA!!!
Naw.... Just kidding...He's way to Kool for me....

I was just going to add that you might want to consider a trama plate in the back of your recliner a la mall ninja just in case a sniper with a 308 is aiming at you..

Twoblink....
You are just way more tactical than me....

But of course, I just use "The Force" cause somewhere in the land of satellite dishes, Star Wars is playing....

Plus, if I (my wife) decides to re-arrange the furniture, I have to lug all that heavy armour plating around...

twoblink,
Lay-Z-Boy + Duct tape + 12 gauge shotgun = tactical recliner..
Um... your 12 guage may as well be a single shot. If you are kicked back in your recliner and fire off a blast from your 12 guage, you'll probably be laying on your back with feet up in the air immediately afterwards ;) . No way you could get a follow up shot off. :D I can't believe I actually responded to a "tactical recliner" thread.

Oooh! Oooh! Bogie's Bunker needs a tactical recliner!

(right now I'm trying to figure out the optimal way of shoehorning in a 32" TV (and kickin' sound system), a 6' couch, an 7.5' couch, a big honkin' coffee table, and several bookcases for the entertainment... into a 11x13 living room.

How can it be tactical if you can't easily jump up and skedaddle (withdraw)?

Tactical Lazyboy !! I already thought of that when we were discussing the "No knock raids" thread. Of course it will be black with a kevlar lining and appropriately placed armor panels so you can hide behind it during an exchange of gunfire. In all honesty, It took a while before someone picked up on this. I know how the "T" word can get some of you worked up.:D

I have my "tactical" dogs that sit in front of the fireplace with my pistola de jour on the bookshelf behind my "tactical" but not black recliner (black would not blend with the motif, hence not offer the necessary concealment).

Gentlemen, much as I sympathize with your tactical plight, this is The High Road, and posts here are supposed to be firearms related (and I don't mean the Marine version of "This is my rifle, this is my gun..."!!! :D ). I'm afraid this thread is closed as terminally off-topic. Threadus interruptus, if you will...
