FWIW I will be extremely surprised if CCW gets passed in Wisconsin any time within the next 5 years.

WI is quite possible the most socialist leaning state in the Union - even more so than CA. Socialists by nature believe in the government and it's ability to take care of it's citizens.

CCW "ain't a gonna" pass in WI...

I voted yes though. Tried to vote twice - it won't let ya - probably checks IP's.

What's this about other weapons? Most states don't allow other weapons.

    It's almost 50/50 now.

Spending my tourist dollars in a place that doesn't allow me to protect myself is not an option as those telemarketers are finding out. I got close to a half dozen calls in the last year asking me to purchase a vacation package to the Dells.

In AZ it is a "Concealed Weapon Permit".
If you can legally own it, you can pack it.

Xenophone, we're used to Fox News, CNN, LA Times and other polls on THR. This one is from small town newspaper in WI. Problem is, the Wausau area is home to one state Senator Decker, who voted for the concealed carry bill, but who may likely vote against a veto override.

The CCW fight here in WI is going to be tooth and nail, right down to the last single vote, just as it was in Missouri. Any help you non-cheeseheads can give is much appreciated.

    51-48 pro-carry

I have a couple friends in Wisconsin who are furious about CC being passed in Missouri (they just moved from here). Strangely enough, they've never heard that it's up for vote in the Wisconsin legislature -- typical uninformed anti-rights blissninnys.

p.s.: I think that IL will be the last no-carry state
p.p.s.: here in MO, if you can legally own it, you can legally carry it concealed, according to our bill

    take care,
