Anschutz .22 rifle info & Pics?

1)Where can I find pics of the current and older Anschutz sporters? I went to acu sports(importer) site and followed the Anschutz link but couldn't find any pics.

2) Who owns an Anschutz .22 in lr or mag sporter? model? & how do you like it?

I've got an Anschutz 1418 (full-length stock) that I'm very proud of. Even has double-set triggers. My son has an Anschutz single-shot with a Flobert action. Very accurate rifles.

I have a 54 Sporter I've owned for probably 30 years. It's still a tackdriver.

I'll probably be getting a 1903 soon, but that is not really a sporter. I'm on my school's rifle team, and I need a rifle of my own (I'm using a loaner Win52 now), and I'll be getting it for two reasons: 1. Almost everybody on the team uses Anschuetz, especially 1903s, and we win pretty much every competition we go into, and 2: My brother used a 1903 when he was on the team and couldn't really say anything bad about it, other than it was heavy. You could use it as a sporter if you wanted to, but it's about 10 pounds and has a target stock. I don't know of any current Anschuetz sporters, but maybe the 54.18 would work. They are all heavy though.

Anschütz rifles are dandy rifles for not an outrageous price. I had a bunch of 190's when I ran an Army Cadet Corps long ago. Tack drivers. Kind of picky on ammo though, but most .22's are.
You're right about needing your own rifle. It just ain't the same if you have to borrow one. You'll likely find your scores go up just by having the sights set for your eye. And target rifles are supposed to be heavy. It's not like your going to be lugging it over hill and dale.
Wish there had been a rifle team where I went to high school. Coulda been a jock.
