See this blog for an excellent view of how an anti-gunner Canadian changes sides and now supports the RKBA. It's the situation in Zimbabwe that finally did the trick, but there are lots of other interesting comments (and links) at the site. Worth reading.

Blogger must be real young. Upon the inception of Mugabestan the new thugocracy imposed new restrictions on firearms ownership including prohibiting individuals from joining shooting clubs who only "wanted to keep their guns."

Mugabestan is the epitome of Madison's motivation for the Second Amendment.

I'm happy that Katzman has seen the light.

It is unfortunate, however, that his vision has come only after thousands of unarmed dead in Rawanda, Somalia and, dare I say, Husain's slaughter of the Kurds and others in Iraq.

Welcome to Civilization, Joe, but you're a bit late.

What a load of crap, Everyone knows that civilians can't be trusted with firearms, only the UN can protect these people. We need to go to the UN a have meetings, and convene comittees, and vote on resolutions, these are the only things that can stop Mugabe.

Really why would we "need" a UN if people can take of themselves?

And after the UN passes the resolution we must vow not to enforce them. Otherwise we would be terrible human rights violating Nazis.
