Again treason from within our own ranks...as someone very precisely put it:
"Germany´s strongest enemy to gun ownership are the legal gun owners."...just like Jörg.
I do not think they totally misquoted him, hearing exact the same old lullaby live and uncut by so many gun owners in Germany.

It´s an "elitist" attitude, a direct contradiction to the image of resonsible people able to conduct themselves any who are therefore able to participate in democracy: "I bend over more than ordinary people therefore I have the privilege to owns guns."

Focussing on gun crimes alone is small minded...just as if someone was saying "No more car accident deaths: Outlaw all cars!"

A gun owner stating that guns are not for self defence and that is what police and government is for. I do not know about Germany but police response time is twenty minutes average where I live, and the first officer to arrive will usually wait for backup. I do know that Germany has hefty criminal sentences for those who illegally use a gun and they do not let gangs run wild in the streets of their cities. If you want me to give up my right to self defense you had better start putting more police out there with automatic weapons to handle the hard corps criminals and give them sentences that are not a walk in the park when they break a law.

Their delusions deriving from ignorance, but also a deep psychological need for control, leftists cannot understand a person being truly self-sufficient and taking responsibility for one’s own protection. Their belief is in a titanic, centralized state which, in the way of the parent, assumes the role of the individual’s protector and provider. They, therefore, are incapable of viewing an individual exercising the right to self-defense as either admirable or normal; for if citizens went about taking responsibility for their lives and physical security, the assumed need for the said titanic, centralized state which leftists make their livings advocating and empowering quickly diminishes. The world is a terrifying place to progressives who insist that their lives must be the responsibility of others. They insist upon an omnipotent police state to enforce their designs of so-called social equality, but despise police officers on account of their duty to defend private property. This bizarre double-speak demonstrates the importance of fear in both the leftist psyche and armoire of tactics.
