So I visited on online thing to meet people and see if I can't find another online friend or two. Anyone else ever visit one of these things? They are infected with some of the most liberal idiocy I have encountered in a long time. Met these kind of people? Ever happen to you? happened to me.
So I come across a journal entry of someone who otherwise seemed to have some sense and WHAMMO! there is the hunting lecture.
Here it is-
" I can't converse with hunters.. I know if I want you to accept my views I have to accept yours but it just doesn't work that way with me. Hunting is murder.. it's blood shed of an innocent creature that has every right to be on this earth as you or I. So please... if you hunt, poach or anything like that.. pass me by. We will NEVER get along. Even if we talked for a great while and it never came up, I'll eventually find out.. and when I do, I'll terminate the conversation, friendship or relationship. That is how strongly I feel about it. So let me break this down for you...
Hunting, poaching, animal breeding etc. = me not respecting you
They say the deer are coming into the cities.. Why? They're running for their lives. If we weren't in THEIR tettitory, it wouldn't be a problem."

then for lack of something better to do and a few minutes of my life to waste I wrote her this nice message-
"Please, read the whole thing and not just one line and go "heh trash", I after all extended that much by reading your profile and journal even if I didn't agree with the points I make note of.
Let me ask...do you eat meat? You look nice and so does your profile, but after your likes and dislikes and the hunting lecture I have to wonder where you think your dinner came from if you do indeed eat meat. I assure you your pork chop had a much rougher life then a Bambi burger. Even if you don't do fish not count? I notice a lot of vegetarian eat them. How those microscopic animals that live on the vegetables in your salad...do they not count? They are animals too after all.
And you mention deer running into cities and having the rights to live and such also. I wonder do you love them so much you think they should be allowed to over populate an area so that they end in a situation of to many animals and not enough food so they starve? If I was in the deer's place I'd rather have it quick with a bullet and be dinner then slow and starved for the maggots dinner. Hunting is the natural preservation of the food chain with modern tools and weapons. You don't have to, but your view is rather bigoted and lacking realistic understanding of the food chain.
Also notice you are into libertarian politics...great! You do know that they are very pro second amendment right? Maybe I'm assuming wrong but I'm willing to bet that given your hunting stance you are against the right to keep and bare arms too. You also say in your likes and dislike next to libertarian politics you like liberal politics...guess that means you only agree with roughly half of what they stand for?
