I have just purchased an Ed Brown Special Forces 1911 from a form member. It is due to be here on Friday. I'm SO excited!

I intend to give her a good workout over the weekend and will post a review asap.

Been a long time since I was so excited over a new 'shooting iron'!

Congrats! Awesome gun, amazing trigger. If I bought one I'd have to sleep in it though :(

Ps... Don't be angry when it shows up in a cardboard box :)

Cardboard box is good. Perhaps it will keep the drool off the gun and help prevent rust. I also intend to keep it quite 'warm' with lots of shooting which will keep it dry too.
