    Hello.

I was wondering if anyone here is aware of any .40 or 10mm barrels that are small enough to be used in a slide with an internal width of .577"?

I really think you need to provide more information to properly answer your question. Make, model, & S/N range as there are differences during the model range.

There's more to converting a gun to 10mm or .40 cal than just a barrel. What about the breech face, extractor and magazines?

Or the strength of the slide for that matter.

If you compare the slide between many guns that come in both 9mm and 40 cal or 10mm you will often find the 40 and 10mm barrels to be thicker in certain parts to add the required strength and weight to deal with the heavier recoil.

The frames are often times beefed up as well.

As a general rule, it is never a good idea to take a 9mm and go up in caliber or power.
