Any CZ-75 Compact/PCR fans here?

A PCR has been my carry-gun for about a year now, carrying it in an Andrews Custom Leather MacDaniel II holster. I put TruGlo sights on it. It took me almost five years to get one.

CZs are my favorite 9mm pistol , I have 7 of them. Six of them are wearing VZ frag grips. You should take a look at them as an option for your grips.

Picked this one up in 2003. It gets a lot of carry time. Recently I fixed it's only downside, by replacing the sights with fiber optic sights from Dawson Precision.

I have said for years the PCR was, IMHO, one of the best CCW pistols ever built, great sidearm.

Are the VZ frag grips on your guns to offer a better grip for carry, or is it mostly for appearance?

My solid interest in handguns developed really late in life (age 62), and so far my only carry guns have been--until December--the Russian ".380 Makarov" (comm. version), and then the .40 Sig P229 in DA/SA.

The Israeli 'Border Security' instructor in the December "handgun class" (quite an understatement) sold me his really used PO1, and two weeks ago I bought a like new PCR D Compact. Excellent guns.

I like the frag grips for both appearance and grip. The texture is not aggressive at all but still provides a good grip. If you're going to participate in games (3 gun, IDPA) you'll want something more aggressive and VZ has those to. The frags are great for carry and casual range use.

Love the CZ-75 platform, but my feeling is the exact same as it is when it comes to the 1911: NO front-cocking serrations! Spawn of the devil, ruins the classic lines ...

I wanted one bad but had no luck finding one locally. Then they had that other unicorn gun, a RAMI BD in, so I sated my urges on it.

I might do a PCR someday, but if I get another CZ soon it will be a long gun or a full size pistol probably. Anyone have a Shadow 2 for 50% off? No?
