Any Eugene, Oregon shooters?

I am sure there are some here. I've been searching this forum and other resources for places to shoot around the Eugene area.

I've been to some of the private ranges, but I am interested in finding some BML land to plink on.

The Willamette National Forest is close by, but there seems to be a lot of restrictions now

Any one care to point me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated!

You need a couple of BLM Surface Management maps for your area. Available here:http://plicmapcenter.org/OR/

Shows which lands are private, state, BLM, USFS, etc. Mighty handy.

Also available at most sporting goods stores. There is also a company that publishes a book for each state, but they are not quite as good, IMHO.

Also check out arfcomm's hometown forum, though many of us have migrated from there to another site. Still arfcomm is a good place to hook up with other local shooters.

I love it here.. I live just out of town but am close proximity to downtown when I need something small town does not provide.. 100 miles to Portland, 60 miles to the coast.. gotta warn ya though.. bad cases of Duck Fever in this town.. hehe.. James
