Any good places to purchase ammo in Cincinnati?

I'm going to spend a couple days in Cincinnati this month and would like to know it there are any good gun shops etc. something close to the interstate would be great.

Lots of stuff there not sure how good price is on ammo

I have had bad experience dealing with target world.

I recommend Aim Surplus, walmart, or online.

I like www.midwayusa.com after shipping you should come out about the same or better than most local shops.

Target world is ok, and it isn't that far from tri-county shopping centers (Read as mall, with other stores in the same general area). Target world is pretty much just good for using their pistol range, and viewing their inventory. But they aren't real great about prices.

For best prices on ammo, you will probably be better off going to walmart , or even go over to bass pro (which isn't in tri-county).

There is a gun shop that isn't that far away from target world I would suggest you don't even bother with. Its called Peterson's Gunshop - Prices suck even more than target world, and their invintory doesn't seem to move. And they mainly sell real expensive shotguns, probably used at that.

A shop that I would suggest you visit, which isn't really in cincinnati, but worth the drive is Shooters Supply, Inc. in Loveland, OH. Its a small shop, inventory can be bare at times. Decent prices on ammo, but the owner/staff are real nice, which is more than I can say about target world.

Don't get me wrong, target world is ok, I'm glad to have them around, but the staff at times seem to be really moody and/or stuckup. There are other staff that are very willing to help and just as happy/interested to chat. I guess it depends who's working, and how busy it is.

BTW if anyone knows of a good shop in northern KY around I-75, I will be going that way.
