Any information on this rifle?

Imported by KDF of Texas - a Mauser action bolt rifle in 7mm Mag marked KDF K-15 with 6x36 Swarovski scope. Knurled walnut foreend with checkering. Normal trigger and set trigger. Marked "Titan" on the barrel along with "Cal: 7mm Rem Mag" and "KDF Seguin, Texas". Opposite side of barrel marked "Voere Voehrenback Made in Germany". Barrel has muzzle brake attached. High polish blue finish with some wear. Bolt has ball handle with bend similar to K98 rifles.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this sounds like a rifle that has been worked on (or built on a existing frame) by Kleingunther (who may be best known for his muzzle brakes).

The limited experience I have with them (3 shots through a .270 version), suggests that they are extremely well built rifles.

KDF was started by Robert Kleingunther in the 1980's to make custom rifles, sell imported rifles and manufacture muzzle brakes. He later sold the company, but (AFAIK) it is still in business.

The maker of the imports prior to 1987 was Voere of Voehrenbach, Germany, and the rifles are very high quality. The rifle you have would be a Titan II Magnum, made prior to 1988. Value, as described but not including the scope, would be around $900-1000.

I found this cached page listing 3 rifles, but can't tell the date of it. The 308 area code is Nebraska (Hey, I didn't know, I'm in VA and had to look it up.) The photo links were dead. John

I have the same rifle in 270 I got it in the mid 80-s while I was in England in USAFabout 85 86 I came back to US in 88 and at that time kliengruther of Sequin texas was importing them doing a pillar bed job and selling them as KDF all those years the scope rings I had were a little high so I tried to contact voere what I got was voere in austria they told me the german company had went out of business many years ago I did find some bases and rings at talley that have been great I shot a lot of Deer in England and here with it has been a very good accurate rifle Fred

Weatherby 375 German made

Hello,
New member here and arrived at this site because I typed in "Kleingunther Seguin Tex " which is on the barrel of a Weatherby 375 cal rifle I recently inherited. I remember my uncle showing me this rifle and telling me it was an excellent gun made in Germany. Although it says " Made in Germany ", the Seguin Tex kind of threw me. It also has the words Voere Vohrenback ( may have spelled the first word wrong).
Here is my question about this Weatherby: About mid way up on the barrel in very small print is the following: " mod k14 cal 375 HH mag" and then closer to the receiver on the barrel in that almost engraved Weatherby script it says " 375 WBY MAG ". I know the Weatherby 375 mag is a enhanced version of the 375 HH, before I going sticking a round in the chamber....which is it ? Too expensive to be experimenting, I see Weatherby started selling it again for $95 per box.
