Morris Garages? Sold 'em, and got into Triumphs (TR4, TR4A) instead.

Most MG's run alot better with an electronic ingnition conversion. Side draft carbs are a pita though.

I have a couple of SMGs.. a Powder Springs MAC .45ACP with suppressor

I had a MG-42 and sold it a few years ago.

65 MGB here. 70 TR6 too. Yep the dual carbs suck and lets not forget Lucas, "the prince of darkness" :)

    Oh yea, MP5 and a SWD M11/9mm. :)

Iffin y'all think your two measley sidedraft carbs are a pain... try tuning my matched pair of Carter 4 barrels on my 426 Hemi...

'53 MG-TD here... (GF's favorite, it is a restoration project as a gift to her)

but, alas, the only MachineGun I have is an Airsoft H&K MP5-SD6

IIRC, an ac556 is just a FA mini 14.

my advice, buy/shoot a mini-14. If you like it and want to shell out the extra few grand for the FA version, go fir it.

I think this one's served it's purpose. More specific questions can be asked in the relevant forums.
