Yes, I purchased one several months ago.
I like mine very much despite recently becoming very anti-Ruger due to several quality issues I've stumbled with regarding their revolvers. I took a chance when buying it and was surprised with how nice it actually is.
In sum, the P94 is a "good enough" choice for most uses, but it's really kind of mediocre when more expensive guns become available to you.
ACCURACY: I can't really say how well it shoots. When new, I benched it once or twice, but not with good ammo. Since then, the weather here has not been cooperative for shooting more groups with HP's.
With Winchester White Box, I have gotten groups of about 2.5" at 25 yards. Lately however nearly all my shooting takes place offhand at 15 yds. and I get groups anywhere from 2" to 3.5". I honestly don't know if the variation is me, the gun, or the cheap ammo I run through it.
I'm confident it will do as well as the Beretta I would have rather had. The sights are OUTSTANDING, being big and bold.
RELIABILITY: 100% stone-cold reliable after about 500 rds, and I've not been fussy about cleaning it either. Maybe 2 or 3 times. I'd definitely trust it with my life, as it seems as reliable as any auto ever could be. You'll never love it, but you will respect it.
TRIGGER: DA sucks for being so long and heavy, but I've seen worse. I do most shooting SA, which is reasonably light but a little creepy. I've certainly had better (Sig P226) but also worse. I struggle with it, but for the price difference in the aforementioned autos it's worth putting up with. BTW, there is no tinny feel or trigger slap as found on my early '90's P90. This gun has evolved greatly.
Every now and then it sends a casing back into my forehead, but not forcefully. I think it may be the ammo I'm using.
FIT/FINISH: it's Ok, but there are some sharp edges right on the cocking serrations on the right side of the gun, making chambering a round painful.
After years of buying razor-sharp stainless Rugers, I can only conclude they just don't care about finishing their handguns.
There is slide-frame slop, too, in spades.
ERGONOMICS: I put a Hogue grip on it, and I HATE finger-groove grips, so that should tell you how little I think of the slippery wonders Ruger shipped the gun with. The gun points very well for me with just the right grip angle, sort of high-pointing but not nearly so much as a Glock. I like the feel of the gun very much, though it's top-heavy. I'd prefer a steel frame as the alloy bothers me during recoil, transferring a strange vibration that steel simply doesn't. I find it a little flippy for a 9mm, but the Hogues help.
CARRYABILITY: I can't CCW this thing, it feels like a brick against my gut in an IWB holster. This is the #1 reason I would like to get rid of it, as it's bigger than 2 9mm's should be. It's darn near as wide as my D.E. .50.
OVERALL: A very good budget gun that I probably wouldn't buy again now that I have experienced owning it. It's good enough for my purposes, but there simply are much better guns out there, and I won't miss it when I trade up eventually.
But on the other hand I can't seem to get rid of it around here, so I'll probably just learn to live with it as long as I have it. I've had a lot of fun trying to shoot it accurately and I certainly have no fear of tearing it up or beating up the finish.
I'd much rather have a Browning High-Power or CZ or Beretta, but here in the real world the P94 is what's actually taking care of business.
