Anybody bought extra mags for Savage MKII .22?

I'm looking to get a few extra mags for my Mark II BV .22lr and was wandering if anybody here had order some. Where did you get the best deal? What capacity were they? Did they function correctly?

Best I've found is Wally World. 10rds for about $10 a piece. They work great in my Stevens 300 (Mk II without the Accutrigger). I've bought two or three and had no problems. They usually only have one or two on the shelves.

walmart sells 10rd mags for the MKII, tehy are made by savage and function fine. i found a website that sells 5 rounders, but cannot remember it right now.

I can only find 10 rounders so I decided to pass

I see them at Wal-Mart, Sportsman's Guide and maybe Cheaper Than Dirt

Bud's Gun Shop carries mags for the MkII . . . 5 and 10. When I'm looking, they're out of the 10 rd blued. I bought the silvers last time, they're in stock most of the time. Sounds like Wal-Mart is a better deal from the posts, however.

Unfortunately, all 6 of my mags don't like to feed the last round.

My stock 5rd and Walmart 10rd (also made by Savage) feed just fine in my Mark II BV.

I jumped at the chance when I saw 10-rounders in Walmart's display case. I also picked up a 5 rounder at Ramsey's in NJ. The original 5 rounder that came with my FVT is garbage. Must have gotten a bad one there. It will jam, cause the cartridge to stand vertically on the rim end, and give me all sorts of tsuris.

The 10's and the replacement five have been flawless.
