Walmart has them for $99. I need another .22 rifle like I need a.... Well anyway, that’s an unreal price. My first thought was “It must be junk”, but Savage usually makes decent stuff. Just wondering.

I currently own 2 of these, and have bought a few to give as gifts. So far, so good. Decent accuracy and the only problems I've had have been from the cheap bulk ammo I generally use. I have noticed that the trigger pulls are hit and miss, some are ok and some are on the heavy side.

Overall I'm pleased with mine, I will probably buy a few more to give as gifts.
