Yep!

Yep - took all of about 3 minutes to get registered.
Great forum, I spend almost as much time there as I do at rimfirecentral.
Mostly browsing/lurking, learning a lot about revolvers, & drooling.
Almost like being at the Ferrari or Maserati dealer tho - a lot of those revolvers are priceless classics.

"I can't get in either. I must have put an old email address in there when I registered. It recognizes my user name but rejects my password. When I ask for a new one it sends my new password to ???

So, no, I can't get in or contact a living soul to get access. Too bad, huh?"

BigG, If you go to the Smith&WessonForum Website and go to the bottom of the page and click Contact Us, you can email them about your problem.

Here is the Email Address.

hope this helps

That's because we are all at the annual Smith & Wesson BBQ shoot and playmate orgy at Hef's mansion...they hold it for us every year...but you have to have a 100 post minimum...I just happened to check my e-mail from the pool house....gotta run....sorry about that ladies...now where was I?

How did you manage that??

I did not. My ISP issued email addy had this strange tendency to just die. At random intervals. Wouldn't receive an email until it was reset. In more than 15 years of playing with email and computers, I've never had that problem. My conversations with a service rep would go something like this:

"My email is broken."
"Your email can't be broken, lets do 30 minutes worth of diagnostic checks you've already performed... well sir, you email is broken. Er, we'll just reset it and change everything back the way you had it."
"So I can do this again at some unspecified time? If I could choke people via telephone lines, I would." So, I just gave up. I've never run into trouble with my gmail account, except on the S&W forums.

I have found them to be a great group of people and an excellenct source of knowledge for the collector. It tends to be a site for the more experienced revolver shooters, although newbies do post there. There is a wealth of knowledge regarding collecting and shooting smith products.
