anyone dealing with Budsgunshop right now?

    I ordered an 11-87 back in December and have heard NOTHING from Buds. Their website seems overloaded and I cannot figure out how to actually speak with a person. It's been twelve "business days" and three weeks since I put my order in.

    Is anyone else having any interaction with them? I've purchased in the past and had no problem, but this is getting to be a bit much. 3 weeks? ZERO customer service? They just keep saying they are overloaded.

    Better yet, does anyone know how to actually speak with a human being?

    I wouldn't be so upset if they hadn't already taken my money. Most other dealers don't charge until the item is ready to ship.

    I suggest you call their new phone number (on the top of their site). I was in there last week and it was pretty busy and will be back there tomorrow morning as I shot at their range but haven't bought much there for at least several months and have never bought on line from them as they are a few minutes from me locally.

    I put 2 items on layaway in december (one before Sandy hook and one after). I paid one off last week (Glock 19 G4) and had it at my FFL and in my hands 4 days later.

    I paid the other one off Saturday (S&W 617) and it shipped yesterday and is scheduled to be at my FFL tomorrow.

    3 business days and 4 business days. Like usual I have been impressed with them. Something doens't sound right with your order. when you log into your account and check your order status what does it say?

    Handgun ordered and paid with cc on the 19th arrived the 24th. Long gun ordered the 22nd and paid with e-check arrived today (15th). The second one sure took a while.

    It's possible 11-87's are temporarily in short supply.......

    I ordered a rifle the week before Christmas that was listed as "in stock". It took 3-ish weeks or so to receive it.

    The order indicated that the order would not be processed until after New Year's.

    Eventually, I got an e-mail that it was in "shipping" and several days or so after that it was shipped.

    Between Buds, Lucky Gunner, and CDNN I give up on all of them.

    It just says "processing" and was listed as in stock when i purchased it. I am frustrated because they took my money and now three weeks later and with their published 7-10 day shipping period long gone, i cannot get in touch with them. I have tried the number at the top of their website. I have tried EVERY SINGLE contact link on their webpage and each is a neverending circle of touchtone options that go nowhere.

    Ordered an SR22 about (3) weeks ago. No problems at all. Received in about (10) days at my FFL.

    end of december purchase

    sunday night 12/23 i bought a handgun from them. they were closed 12/24 and 12/25.

    I did pay for the expedited processing and insurance package, my FFL had it friday of that week on 12/28, i had it friday night 12/28.

    I ordered a handgun on the 4th and it was at my FFL on the 11th. They moved it to "shipped" status in about 5 minutes.

    I had no problem right before Christmas. It did take a couple of weeks.

    Also, Impureclient, I just logged in with no problems.

    Bud's is inundated right now; shoulder to shoulder with people picking over what's left. Buddy was in there last week to buy a SPS tactical; they were taking numbers. Took 2 hours for him to speak to anybody. That's walking in their front door. Can't imagine what the phones are doing. I'm avoiding that place like the plague right now; usually go to sniff around once a month. Right now? Nope!

    ** UPDATE ** i didn't read their entire website close enough. They now have these turtle icons next to most of their guns which they define as up to two weeks delay in shipping. apparently they also have some rabbit icons next to guns that will continue to ship on their scheduled timeframe. not sure how they're deciding what they can ship on time, but it does sound like total chaos.

    i'm not even trying to call them as it goes nowhere. i don't feel bad for them though as their profits are probably through the roof.

    I watched a Bushmaster A1 go at auction last night for $4000.

    Took me a minute to figure out that turtle icon on Buds' as well. BTW, the CDNN website was taken down again (replaced by a text splash).
