Anyone else own this herters?

    My Dad bought my brother and I each one when we were kids , lots of fond memories
    I loved that Herters catalog when I was young !!

    My grandfather told me he had his (now my dad's) delivered by train to where we lived in upstate NY back in the 40-50's. When did you get yours?

    IIRC, they were made in Germany by JP Sauer, predecessor of SIG.

    I had several different Sauer SA revolvers in .44 mag. They are built like a tank, and mine were very good shooters.

    I believe www.gunpartscorp.com still has some parts for them.
