The best I've seen lately is Aim Surplus. They have this for $3.95/box of 20:

    "Item#A8mmRom20
Clean Surefire Surplus 8mm Mauser ammuntion. Made in Romania in the early 1970's. FMJ, Steel case, Berdan primed. Packed 20rds/box. While supplies last."

    See the link: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_8mm.html

I'd bought 2 boxes awhile back to check it out and shot a dozen rounds with no problems. It sure beats the 1000 rounds of crummy Ecuadorian ammo I bought several years ago which fails to fire regularly. I just ordered 25 boxes from Aim last night for $98.75 + $20 shipping. The nearest best price I've seen is Hotshot or Prvi Partisan for ~$8.95 a box.

I have shot 2 sardine tins (760 rounds) of romanian ammo through my mauser. I shoot 2" groups @100 yards with the stuff. It hascorrosive primers so treat it like any other corrosive ammo. You will need to spend some extra time cleaning it...its REAL dirty! I just bought 2 more tins from aim and will be on the lookout for more when the fall gunshows start.

All surplus 8mm is corrosive. Even if it's advertised as non-corrosive, treat it as corrosive, unless you want a nasty surprise.
