I haven't seen any reviews on here on the Tulsa Gun Show this weekend.

Did anyone go?

I sure did! Had a great time too. It took my friend and myself over 5 hours to walk through. Lots of overpriced .22 ammo, but there was plenty of powder to be had (not in all variants). Bullets were a bit lacking also. All in all, it was a bit of sensory overload and I'm sure I missed a lot of great stuff.

I was there, ammunition was way over priced, bricks of low end .22 lr started at $80.00, cases of off brand FMJ 9mm and .45 acp started at $450.00. 8lb jugs of powder were 50% higher than they were back in November.

There were plenty of nice firearms, many of the non-EBRs were at very reasonable prices. The black rifles were over priced by about 50-80%. A lot of demand but supply is catching up so prices are no longer triple.

The antiques, revolvers, and bolt and lever action rifles were reasonable. the show was not as crowded as we thought it was going to be, actually it was about the same as usual.

I figured it would be a madhouse, so I didn't go.

I went in the spring of 2009 and people were almost fighting over ammo.

IMHO the internet has really made gun shows close to obsolete. Gunbroker is like a nationwide 24/7 gun show. And then there is forums, gunsamerica and armslist if you want FTF only. The last gun show I attended had more non gun-related crap than actual firearm stuff. Kind of put the nail in the coffin.

The Nov 2008 show was a madhouse; 50k tickets sold Sat I heard. I gave up trying to walk the show about mid morning and just sat at the table.

This show seemed about normal attendance, maybe even a little less. A couple friends said their firearms sales were way down from usual. I saw lots of high priced .22 ammunition but not much selling. I wouldn't be suprised if there was close to a million rounds of .22 at the show.
