Just wondering. This stuff is brass-cased Serbian ammo. I bought a small quantity but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

I haven't shot any of their recent ammunition and didn't own a 5.56mm firearm before the Yugo Civil War. I did shoot a LOT of their 6.5x55mm, 7x57mm, 7.92x57mm, 7.62x54mm, 7.62x39mm and .30-06 and thought it was very good for factory ammunition. If it's as good as it was before, it's very good ammunition, as good as or better than any bargain US ammunition.

It clocks 3150s from my bushmaster predator but short cycles to the extent that it won't reset the hammer. With the A2 upper in place, it works fine and also functions in an Olympic arms I know about. Something about the pressure curve of the bushmaster hybrid SAAMI chamber must not be compatabl with it.
Some of my best handload accuracy has occured with the serbian brass sorted by weight.

Have run about 300 rnds through my Stag 16", 1:9 twist. No function problems. Better accuracy than Wolf in comparable grrain sizes. A little cleaner than Wolf & Wolf MC. In 50 - 55 gr. loadings (FMJ), it shoots about the same as S&B.
It's not Black Hills, but it's OK for a day at the range.

Some of the older Privi was really .223 loaded for bolt action rifles in Europe, but it was labeled as 5.56 and imported to the US. That ammo usually won't cycle 20" ARs.

The newest M193 '07 lots are true 5.56 pressure and don't have any issues in ARs.
