Anyone have a P-38K?

    Nope, but I wish I did!!
    I saw one at a gun show a couple of years back, but the guy wanted way to much for it. It was a P38K in the original box with papers!! Imported by Interarms. That's the only one I have ever seen up close or otherwise!! They were not popular to begin with!! When it failed to interest the Deutschen politzi, Walther quietly dropped it in favor of the then new P5!!

    Wow. I thought I was the only one with a thing for the obscure.... I have wanted a P-39K for a couple of decades. That is one of the guns that is on my "always looking" for list, along with a Walther P-5C. In all the time I have been looking for one, I have seen exactly ONE for sale. It was for an utterly ridiculous price and the guy wouldn't even let me TOUCH it. I may have to break down and cobble one together from a surplus P-1. I have come close to doing that on a couple of occasions. Hmmm, I feel a familiar itch coming on.....
