Anyone have an opinion of Sellier & Bellot 9mm?

With all these glowing reviews I may have to give S&B a second chance, and just write off my first problem as a fluke.

Please do.......and then let us know what you think.

I love it, esp in .32 and 9mak, really some of the best stuff out there, and I have heard that their 7.62 soviet surplus is the best milsup.

I shoot S&B in my CZ pistols but other guns as well and it runs great, though I agree it's a little hotter than many other loads of the same caliber. I ususally buy mine on-line at Natchez Shooters.

S&B was what I was using in this picture:

2k of it thru the Uzi with no problems. I got 1149fps (10.2" barrel) with a standard devation of 14 with the S&B 124gr Range Safe.

The ammo functions fine and the price is right. I've used it in .45, 9mm, .380 and .25 .

I have used quite a bit of it over a period of time and never had a problem. Shot most of it through my cZs and BHPs. It is a bit hotter than US ammo.

Thought I'd share this with other KCMO High-Roaders, Cabela's has the exact same S&B 9mm for $9.99. It's a dollar more but The Armory didn't have much left yesterday.

I don't have any 9MM shootin' irons, so I can't say about that.

However, I have shot A LOT of their .45ACP stuff...good ammo

I bought some on sale and it is marked "POLICE" on the box, never did find out what the difference is. For reloading they are tougher to size and prime but work well.

That is the stuff I've been using. Shot about a thousand rounds of it.

I hate to say it but I think S&B is the best value in low cost ammo out there.

I am a big "Buy American" guy and I feel guilty buying imported ammo or giving it a plug, but in my experience it is simply excellent ammo at a very reasonable price.

I used it in .357 when that was all I could find. I had no problems and would snatch up as much as I could in 9mm at that price if I could find it.

I know nothing. I got S&B from the gun store when I bought the gun. It was expensive so I always thought it was like the Lexus of ammunition. So I have been shooting all my Blazer and Monarch ammunition trying to use it up. Keeping the S&B like fine wine for when the SHTF.

Now I find some one sells it for less than Walmart sells Blazer. geez. I know nothing.

I have used their ammo in my 9mm and .45's with no problems. I have purchased and fired it in my Garand with no problems. I even reload the brass and it works well. It is a little harder to resize, I think, because they seal the primers. The first reload and they seem to get easier.
