I have one I bought back around 2012 or 2013, don't recall it having issues. I know, I know, it's ATN, but the thing seemed solid the couple years I used it for hog hunting.
Fast forward to present, my thermal is out for repair, so I dug the Mk 390 out of the safe, put fresh battery in and stuck it on an AR to deal with the coyotes which have been getting closer lately.
Major issues in trying to zero. The clicks are supposed to be 1/4" @100, which I don't recally if they worked that way previously, but this time a single click might move it an inch or so, or maybe completely off the target, 10" or more. But the weird thing is, it's somewhat consistent in that if I bring it back the same number of clicks, it ends up with roughly the same POI.
This thing has only seen light use, never been dropped, cooked in a car, etc. Nothing seems loose. And this weapon is an AR I built with a 22" 1:8 Wilson bull barrel, shoots 10 shot groups of .9 MOA @100 with the same ammo and same suppressor using a good day scope, so it ain't a gun/ammo/can issue.
Just wondering if anyone has encountered this before. Message sent to ATN to see if they still service them, but figured I'd check with the hive in the interim.
