I found one at a great price, but I am more worried about performance. Anyone have any experience with them?

Not sure what you mean by "performance"? Any pump gun, (as opposed to a recoil or gas operated gun) using the same shells, with the same length bbl will have virtually the same performance - speed of the load, etc.

If you are referring to pattern and spread, that is more a function of the choke in the individual barrel.

I have a Weatherby SA-8 Upland Deluxe 20ga. This is a great quail gun. It's light, shoulders well, has nicely figured walnut and is reliable. Have even shot clays with it without a glitch. I don't have experience with the PA(pump) version but I would think it's just as well made and reliable.
