Example, I think Kimber rifles seem really nice. Durable, smooth, strong. When it comes to their pistols which they are known for they just seem cheap to me. In all fairness I've never shot either, my experience is holding them in the store. Looked at one of their .380's recently and the slide seemed loose while the slide on a similar .380 Colt was rock solid with no movement.

I'm a fan of S&W revolvers, but dislike pretty much all their semi-autos along with their rifles and shotguns. I'm sure their other guns are OK, but it generally seems like competitors have high capacity, more features, look better and/or cost less.

I like Zastava for their LK M70 rifles but I have zero interest in their so-called Mini Mauser M85 line.

Seems to me this is a pretty normal marketing approach and reaction to same. What would be the point of having multiple lines that appealed to the same buyer? They would lose the other buyers who might be attracted to something completely different.

I have historically liked Ruger rifles, revolvers and non-striker handguns.

Never got excited about their shotgun line.
Their shotgun line sucked - TWICE................

For me, it would be Beretta - I'll take their shotguns over their rifles and handguns

Ruger. I love the single actions, and I can get down with their pocket autos and 1911, but I absolutely loathe their DA revolvers. Burnt by gp100 and traded away the one gun that haunts me in the process. I can’t even look at a DA Ruger (or kimber for that matter since they both use button latch) without getting a pit in my stomach. I still need a quality 357 to replace my Taurus 689, and it’s been over 10 years.

I like the older Remington shotguns, the 870s and the 1100s, but Remington big game rifles never have really appealed to me - not even before the great Model 700 trigger fiasco. I know plenty of folks who swear, or swore by Remington big game rifles though. It's just that I never have liked their looks, not even the little Remington "Mohawk" .243 my wife had for a while.
For that matter, I never liked the looks of famous Remington "Nylon 66" .22 either. Yeah, I know - they worked great! I'm allowed to not like guns because of the way they look. There's plenty of other guns out there that work "great" and I like their looks of too.:D

I like the Ruger MK .22's and SP101 guns. Not too excited about the rest of the Rugers.

I like Browning O/U shotguns. Dont care much for the any other Brownings.

Love Ruger SA’s but it took 50 yrs for me to finally buy some of their DA’s.

Love Smith Revolvers, but I could not shoot their Metal Autos worth beans. However I am one of a few that actually liked the Sigma.

I could go on ad nauseam about this. However I will add caveats, asterisks, etc. and say I do not include any prolific platforms like 1911s or ARs. So I will not say I like a particular company’s ARs or 1911s but not something else.

For instance, I hate Remington pistols (excluding the R1 1911) but I love their pump rifles. (And rimfires)

I like S&W revolvers.....and they never should have made anything else.

Not a fan of the Sig 22x series but like their more compact pistols like the 232 and 239.

Dont care for CZ pistols but generally like their rifles and a few of their Turkish shotguns.

Like Ruger MKs but not their more modern centerfire pistols. Loved the P89 though.

I like lots of stuff for different reasons. A whole line I can't say. I've never warmed up to Kimber handguns(SA) but have not tried their revolvers. I have never been a Glock fan but wouldn't turn down certain models if they fell in my lap. I have long guns from many manufacturers. A lot of it has to do with the "era" they were built in! I was always a S&W revolver guy because I wasn't that enamored of their SA stuff, but some of the modern M&P stuff has stuck. I don't think it is lines per se, as much individual models within a line..

Always loved Ruger revolvers, maybe being their biggest fan with the Six Series line-up. Never cared for their early semi-auto offerings though, like the P85, P89, P93, and P95. It wasn't until I tried an SR9c (thanks to the gentleman shooting one next to me and then asking me to try it to see if it was the gun or him; yep pretty sure it was him), that I developed a new found appreciation for Ruger pistols as well.

I didn't even know S&W made rifles until I checked and saw it's AR15's, I thought you meant bolt-actions. I don't recall ever seeing a SW bolt-action.

Then I remembered I had a SW MP15 for work years ago and it was a great gun, dependable and never had a hiccup.

Love Kahr 9mm's... I own or have owned about 10 of them. Their other chamberings... not so much. I've owned 2 .45 Kahrs... have/had problems with both of them. I was thinking about getting one of the little .380's... but I've read that either you get a really good one, or a really bad one... and I don't care for those odds.

Eh, if I like a manufacturer, I generally like most of the stuff it puts out.

Love S&W revolvers (mostly old, but some new) and semi-autos (mostly Gen 3, but also the M&Ps).

Love SIG pistols (DA/SA, striker-fired) and their rifles/carbines.

Love Springfield Armory pistols (especially the 1911 line), the M1A1 line, the Saint ARs ...

Have had many worthy Kimber pistols and think they make a great Rifle.

Love all things Beretta, pistols and shotguns, and have adopted the Sako and Tikki line-up as well.

I am all about inclusivity and diversity (I work for a government, they tell me I have to be).

I've seen vintage S&W bolt action rifles for sale on Gunbroker.com during my browsing but IIRC they were manufactured by another firearms company then badged S&W. I don't recall the actual manufacturer distinctly, but Husqvarna floats to the top of what I think I remember.

I have never had the opportunity to shoot a entire line of any manufacturer's products. Really do see how so many have. So I would find it almost impossible to make a comment on such a question. Most manufacturers make many Products, class size's, etc. I am, as a example a Beretta Fan, and have yet to see a product I have not liked both Pistols and Shotguns, however I have not had the opportunity to shoot all of them. I have Rugers I love, some I do not.I have not shot all of their line, like the PC Carbine, shotgun or some pistols and revolvers. The revolver I do have, I love.
Guns in many ways are like people. Some I like, some I don't.It comes down to the individual that I get to know or acquainted with.

Howa. The M&P15 is a decent AR, no better and no worse than DPMS and that ilk.

Thanks!

Well I got it started with an "H" anyway.

They manufacture for other badging as well, the almost stillborn resurrection of Webley & Scott badging on bolt action rifles with composite and wood stocks didn't have much of a run. I saw various ones NIB on clearance in the Cabela's Gun Library a while back.
